Essence of MeWatch the leaves on these trees silently sway Shades of vibrant green Inspire in me an inner peace A peace of mind With each inhale Of an air so pure And the wind playfully tugs at my hair inviting me to come along Inhibitions are set loose At this moment, the only being in existence is me Dance barefoot in a meadow Filled with impossible dreams As the moon lights up a sky too dark to see I’ll watch my shadow glide along cheerfully Gifts of life, one must cherish Lessons I have learned From a past I once regretted I’ll dance like a fool &Essence of Me
